Thought about it but never done it.
I've worked in 2 restaurants for long periods of time. The first was a family run restaurant, bar and function centre and the owner didn't open stating, "I don't want to work so why would I get my staff too".
The second I was the restaurant manager and on salary, I went in the morning set everything up and by the time the guests came the owner told me to go home and gave me a $200 bonus cash. I hope he did that with the salary chefs as well. But we did had a very strict 11am until 2.30pm time for guests so staff could be home by 4.
The next year I had a baby and wasn't even asked to work but did the New Years Eve lunch not dinner.
