Default Warning Labels On Fast Food

Assuming you HAD to vote, would you be for or against a warning like this to be on fast food and why? (LIKE this one....not this one exactly. Dont go picking apart the wording or image)

Poll to follow. Poll choices are

    *Against
*Donkey vote cos I honestly wouldnt care one way or the other

ETA: This is for ALL fast food, not just McDonalds and not just particular burgers. Labels would be on ALL burger wrappers/boxes, chip containers etc.

Donkey. Because I think that even if warnings were on the packets people would mostly ignore it still.

Default Warning Labels On Fast Food

For - I don't think that some people realise how much salt, trans fat, calories and cholesterol are in fast food and how really bad these foods are for kids, I'm aware that some people consider these foods as treats or sometimes foods but the sad fact is some kids do eat these meals a few times a week

I would vote in favour, mainly because I loathe McDonalds and haven't stepped foot in one of their "restaurants" in 20 years. Anything that helped them drop sales would be ok by me.

I wouldn't be against labels, but I don't agree with the one in the pic.

Yeah I don't actually like that label as I don't think toddlers are the target market for Big Macs so parents might think if they gave them something smaller it would be ok.

Like Elijah's Mum - for - because people are unaware of just how much of their daily intake these foods take up. I was shocked the other day to learn just how much 1 tablespoon of butter takes up out of our daily fat recommendation - let alone foods laden with sodium, fat, salt, who knows what else.

Also, I don't want to have to explain to DS what the label means!! That alone would be enough to put me off.

Not just McDonalds, ANY fast food restaurant.

I voted no. I don't mind the idea of warning labels, but I don't like THAT label, at all.

    Against.

Junk food doesn't make people fat. It's people who have no portion control or don't grasp the 'everything in moderation' rule. There are plenty of people who eat healthy foods, but are overweight because they eat too much.
