Default Newborn and putting on weight

Hi I was wondering for people with their newborns after birth how much weight did they lose gain in the first week? My 4th baby is 6 days old and just seems to be losing weight rather then gaining. Midwives and the health care nurse have all visited and weighed him and since birth he's dropped to 90grams below his birthweight. He was 3630 and today he's 3440. Healthcare nurse said to just feed him when he wants. I'm just wondering if he should be gaining not dropping. But they don't seem concerned. So I'm just curious as to what other peoples newborns have been doing with their birthweight. I don't recall any of my other 3 dropping weight when almost a week old. Tyia

Ah ok Ty for the replies.... Seems pretty normal then.... I'll see how he goes tom when the midwife comes back. He's not a spewy baby either he's been keeping pretty much all of it down since weve been home.. so thought he would have been gaining....

My little one did this. Well she lost then gained when my milk came in and then lost again. They became worried then because she'd gained and then lost and thats not a good sign, but they just got me to wake her every 3 hours for feeds and 4 hours overnight (because she was only waking once in the night from birth) and she gained weight well once we started that

He has lots of wet nappies and is content majority of the time unless hungry or being changed... Then its like all hells broke loose lol.... But otherwise he seems fine. Midwife comes out today so guess will see what she says.
