    Default Quiche Recipes!

I got this recipe from my sister and you literally can't go wrong! I make little mini ones for dd's lunch which she absolutely loves!

    2 eggs
    3 tablespoons of cream
    100grams grated cheese
100 grams ham or cooked bacon
    Salt and pepper (if desired)
    1 teaspoon English mustard (optional)

    Mix it all together.
Line the baking tray with puff pastry
and bake 160 degrees for 15/20 mins. You can make a big one or little ones in a muffin tin.
You can add all sorts of things in them!

    Default Quiche Recipes!

DP's Aunty told me a quiche recipe few months ago that she made up and it's just delicious.

Makes the best quiches and basically fail proof. They are family size. Or make the mixture and then make cupcake sized ones.

    6 Eggs beaten
    300ml Thickened Cream
    200-300ml Milk

Mix together and then add what you like. I like to put bacon, onion, a little bit of cheese, salt and pepper. But you can add anything you like!

Line a baking tray with puff pastry (grease the tray first). Put in the oven on 180 degrees and bake for about half an hour (pending on your oven).

You will see the quiche raise up big then start to sink. Take it out and scewer or knife the top and if it comes out clean the quiche is done.

Let it rest for 10-15 minutes. You will see it sink down and look quiche like and then you are good to go!

Serve hot or refrigerate and serve cold.

So good. Now I am going to make quiche.

This is pretty much what I do also sometimes add grated carrot, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes if I have them in fridge and they need to be used up. If doing the grated zucchini I usually lay it between some paper towel to squeeze out some of the excess water.

    4eggs
    1/2 cup self raising flour
    1.5 cups milk
    1cup grated cheese
    3tbs of melted butter

    Cook on 180 for 30-40mins
I also cheat and buy frozen flan case its so good with or without the base and can be done in muffin tins to make mini Quiches for school snacks too.

Add 2 cups of any filling of choice

I fry up bacon or ham, mushroom, finely diced onion, peas & corn as my 2 cups of filling but you could use anything chicken, spinich, riccotta, tomatoes, spring onion, red pepper... Yum!

    Default Quiche Recipes!

My fav is caramalised onion and goats cheese

I make a easy sour cream pastry -
    - 250 grams Flour, white
    - 200 grams Butter, unsalted
    - 1/2 teaspoon Salt
    - 125 grams Sour cream

    In kitchen aid or food processor;
Put flour, salt and cubed butter in machine, gently mix
Then add sour cream, gently mix again
Just come together, wrap in cling film, rest in fridge for 1/2 hour then roll and blind bake for 15 minutes

    Filling;

1 batch caramelized balsamic onions( about 3 onions, on low heat with olive oil and balsamic for 45 mins)
    1/2 cup cream
    4 large organic eggs
    1/2 cup goat cheese crumbled
    Pinch salt
    ¼ tsp black pepper
    1/8 tsp nutmeg
    Oregano ( fresh or dried)
1 big Roma tomato, sliced into thin slices

Put onions on bottom of pastry shell, cover with crumbled cheese and pour over cream/egg mix, top with slices of tomato and sprinkle over oregano, bake until set about 20-25 mins ( I do mini ones in muffin tins as well)
