    Default Contraction pain....

    But not pregnant.....
I keep getting these stomach pains/cramps that are basically this massive tightening across my belly (where my belly button is) that lasts for a minute or so and then dies back to being just uncomfortable. It's enough for me to stop whatever I'm doing and go holy sh!t this hurts and the only way I can think to describe is contractions as its not constant (but never had labour so I could be way off the mark).

It doesn't feel like period pain, any suggestions?

Ovulation pains maybe? When I'm not on any form of birth control I get horrible ovulation pains.

ETA: Sometimes 'wind pains' can feel contraction like. So sometimes doing a BM (sorry for the tmi) will alleviate them, if that's what they are.

    Default Contraction pain....

Could it be kidney stone or gall bladder pains?

Sounds like ovulation pain. I get it when I'm not on birth control. It's so painful.

I've had ovulation pain before... And this feels different (and am on pill). Shouldn't be food poisoning and better not be gallstones/kidney stones.... Hmm had a sandwich and it went away. Maybe I was hungry? Weird....
