Lightbulb Cows milk from what age?

Hi, i was just wondering from what age everyone has started or will start giving their kids cows milk. My daughter is 8 months old this Friday, I've been told from my mum that she started us around 8 or 9 months, but I've read 12 months, so i just wondered what other people out there have done.

    Thanks in advance!

Default Cows milk from what age?

My ds has had cows milk on cereal etc from around 8-9 months but I didn't start attempting it as a drink until he was over 12 months, not that he will drink it lol

Default Cows milk from what age?

I think it was 12 months, as a replacement to formula not just in cooking etc.

My DD wouldnt drink formula after stopping BF at 8 months...but would drink cows milk. I queried with the Dr about calcium etc and was told as long as she was eating other calcium rich foods and a variety of veg etc then she wouldn't be deficient in anything. Luckily she loved cheese...I'd stir ricotta through pasta or she'd eat it off a spoon.

The recommendation when I had DD was to wait until at least 12 months of age. That is what I did.
