    Default help with bridesmaid dress!

    Hi everyone,

I am due to give birth at the end of the year, and am chief bridesmaid for my sister 8 weeks after. She has decided to purchase her gowns from an online website. I am wearing a maxi dress (which I am really happy about) as I have put on quite a bit of weight during my pregnancy. (think all over). My main problem areas are my hips, b um and thighs. I am having problems choosing what style to get. I think I have narrowed it down to these three:

    http://www.inweddingdress.com/style-br283.html
    will add cap sleeves

    http://www.inweddingdress.com/style-br265.html
    will also add cap sleeves

    http://www.inweddingdress.com/style-br150.html
has cap sleeves and a higher waist, but can't see the back

Also, I was hoping to breastfeed at the same time- I was thinking of asking them to leave the straps off so I could get them attached with some type of removable fastner, and maybe get extra zips put in the sides so I can fold down the cups (if that makes sense?)

Anyway, after all of this- my questions are- which one do you think would be more flattering, especially on my 'lower half and over my b um and hips (As one has a higher waist than the others) and if you have any other thoughts of how you could make these dresses breast feeding friendly, that would be awesome too.

Forgot to mention- I am size 14 at the moment (usually a 12) and my belly will probably also be another area to hide :-)

I think I like the last one best. What colour will they be ?

Not really sure how you'd make them breastfeeding friendly, maybe add some zips to the sides ? If you took it to a dressmaker I'm sure they could do something.

I definitely like the first one best.

I have the same shape as you by the sounds of it. You're better off (IMO) having the lower waist to elongate your torso and accent your smallest part - your waist. A higher waist will just appear to make the widest part of your body start higher up. If that makes sense?

If I were you I would try and find something similar to each and try them on though. That's the only way you'll know what will look best.

No idea on ideas to make it breast feeding friendly though, sorry!

I would love to try something on but I'm 35 weeks pregnant with a massive belly and unfortunately not fitting into anything with a hint of a waist at the moment haha
