I put the potatoes under the chicken cook all day then finish in the oven with the veggies. It's yummy

They used to freak me out too but then I bought one for my Mum and she showed me how to use them. Easy... Mines an electric one not a stove too one though.

Don't pressure cookers make things taste like tin food? Cos that's how they make tin food. What kind of things can you cook with it?

My mom makes a mean soup in the pressure cooker. I just stay away from the kitchen though cos the pressure cooker is at least 30 years old and it freaks me out.

I use my pressure cooker way more than my slow cooker. Mostly for roasts, risotto & stews but you can even make bread in there and heaps of other stuff.

I'm not a very adventurous cook but my husband LOVES everything make in the pressure cooker. He loves to tell people to buy one even though he has never used it

Gosh no! I'm pretty fussy about food and HATE anything from a tin or any processed foods really.

    You can cook anything
    Soup
    Roasts
    Casserole
    Lasagna
    Curry
    Bread
    Puddings
    Cake

Pretty much anything, just google recipes you will find heaps of things you can cook.

I tried this last night. I put 2 chicken breasts, a tin of tomatoes and the taco seasoning mix in the slow cooker. I cooked it for about 41/2 hrs and it shredded so easily and tastes delicious. Much better than mince. 22 month old DD loved it too.

Was on Pinterest and came across this... Sounds pretty yummy (although not low calorie).

CookingMonster: its so much better than mince, hey?! And my kids love it too! I don't think I'll use mince again.
