    Thanks for everyones honest opinions

Im off to purchase one tomorrow and DD is butterfly crazy so was thinking of getting this one (Target etc sell them) the Goldbug 2 in 1 harness buddy

But doesnt look like the lead part is adjustable? Or can they be shortened in any way? Can anyone confirm who has one of these animal ones or recommend one that does as i want to hold DDs hand while in use whenever i can but if the lead is too long its going to be dragging on the ground if that makes sense

    Thanks

It's not adjustable, we just purchased the horse for my DS on the weekend. But I will pop the loop over my wrist and hold his hand or you could pop the "lead" part in the bag as it has a zip up pocket

Ah ok, I tried ours on DS this morning with the loop over my wrist it doesn't drag on the ground or anything but I guess it would depend on how tall your child is.

Just loop it over your wrist, then wrap the excess around your wrist.

Yep my son is 19 months but is taller than most 2.5yr olds, I doubt it would drag for an average sized child at 18 months though its not overly long.

I bought one of the monkey backpack things for DD. the first time i used it she got on her hands and knees and started pretending to be a dog in the middle of a huge shopping centre. People were stopping and pointing while I was begging her to get up. Worst.parenting.moment.ever.
