Witwicky, there's supposed to be carollers, Christmas-themed shows, fake snow and an ice-rink (though I think might just be an ice-show, rather than letting you use it...). Then the rides and stuff too... the person who eMailed me said all rides would be working, though obviously taking DD I don't really need to worry about the big ones.

We have a VIP pass too, so it's just $10 entry... and I'll spend half of hte day there too... or maybe go next door to W&W instead... it'll be a pretty good day for $10 each.

ETA - you have to book though.

Yep :-) they are year passes that are valid from June 30 till June 30 and they get you into wet and wild, movie world and sea world, but I think you have to be a resident of QLD or just south of the border to get one

Last year you could skate on the ice rink they may have changed it but hopefully you can still skate, DS1 is super excited about it.

IF you get hte VIP passes now, you get upgraded to VIP GOLD so you get into the Christmas thing for free (you still have to book though).

We got our VIP passes in July... they pretty much pay for themselves if you only go to 2 theme parks in an entire year. So far we've done Movie World and Sea World, but I'll be using my passes a fair few times over the school holidays too. They're pretty good when it means you only really have ot pay petrol and food while you're down there... much better than $70 for an adult to enter (especially when you have kids... cos all you do is follow them around all day... no fun big rides or anything...).
