What?! How was she in love with him from the beginning? You're crazy! lol, this is hard, trying to explain my point of view without spoiling it!

    firstly i'm agreeing with disbride

i was happy with her ending up with the one she did. i think the other would have been a poor-er choice tbh
BUT...i really think a poly-ending would have been appropriate there
And a less abrupt ending. it was very sudden and unexpected. kind of 'hey, i'm sick of writing now, so...done'. [still an amazing trilogy though]

Harry potter never felt like a love triangle to me, and the ron/hermione thing built up (in my opinion) from book 2 or 3 almost. they had some serious love/hate tension going

I'm trying to figure out what book i really didn't like the ending to.

I couldn't stand the ending (well pretty much the second half of the last book!) At all but not because of who she ended up with. That part was ok just the rest of it.

While I really enjoyed the story, I foundthe writing in all three books to be pretty average. The third was the worst for this though, the whole book felt kind of rushed. Still a good read though.

Yeah I felt the same, not the best writing, but really good story telling.

I know it never happens, but I really wish the movie stuck closer to the book.

Game of thrones on the other hand is amazing writing. I haven't seen the tv show to compare though.

Default I hate it when fictional love triangles don't work out the way I want!

I thought the Harry Potter ending was great.

But the Hunger Games- well my reaction was the same as yours OP.

I think it was good the way it worked out.Why should Harmione get with Harry? She was never inlove with him.. she was always inlove with Ron.
