Default Did anyone spot bright red blood before going into labour?

I'm 39+3 and having a lot of period type cramping and bright red spotting when I wipe.
I didn't have any sort of "bloody show" with the girls so not sure what it's meant to look like.

Should I be hopeful or worried? I see my OB today.

I would call your hospital, just in case. Are you trying for a vbac this time?

That's how it all started for me. I woke up at 38+2 with bright red blood. I called my hospital and was asked to come straight in. I was in early labour and after waiting another 24 hours for things to progress, my waters were broken and DS was born not long after.

    Good luck!

Just got out of the doctors. He said it was a bloody show this morning and am 1cm dilated (only !) but cervix is soft and completely thinned. She's fully engaged and while he was feeling my belly he said I was having contractions, I thought they were just cramps lol. He gave me a stretch and sweep and should be any day now
