    Default Torture Porn?

After all it has actual porn like scenes.

Or what about comedies with sex scenes that are more explicit than just two people under covers? Comedy Porn?

Where do we stop labeling with the porn at the end?
I haven't seen that movie but its classified MA15+ (Strong sex scenes), I think thats pretty self explanatory. And there is a big difference between strong sex scenes and porn. When using the term to classify sex scenes in what is essentially a main****** film, it doesn't sit well with me. Even strong sex scenes in movies are not what I would consider explicit. You have to go back and really look at the definition of pornography. Nudity, IMO, does not equal pornography. But as I said, I haven't seen this movie. Are there close ups of genitalia? Actual shots of actual sex? I doubt it for an MA15+ film.

None of these movies are for me. They really bother me and my state of mind.... but I know people who do like them and watch them and it doesnt bother them.
    Just my useless two cents

    Default Torture Porn?

The first Saw was really quite clever in its plot... The following were just like the Hostel movies... No real plot just endless gore.

I'm okay with them being labelled thus so you know what you're going to be watching. I don't think their distribution or availability should be limited... Just apply general classification guidelines... But pointing out what they essentially are could help a lot of people avoid watching them if they're too weak stomached for something really graphic like that.

I'd also really appreciate if it films with graphic depictions of rape were appropriately labelled. I can handle torture porn just fine.... But graphic rape scenes freak me out for days.

No genitalia, but actual sex scenes yes, when I say sex scenes I am not talking about people making love under covers, or even laying on top of each other or a quick shot of a woman riding a man. I am talking about long scenes, of pretty much what I have seen in porn, rough sex from all different positions, I am pretty lax with what my kids see but I wouldn't let me 16 year old watch it. Thank god my 12 year old son was in trouble or I would have been in trouble because he usually watches movies with us at night.

I think you should watch the movie and tell me then that you dont think that its borderline porn I am not saying they should. I really dont care if it sits well with you because I was using it as an example. If you can label movies like Saw and Hostel with the word porn then why not the comedies like this one with very explicit sex scenes that are like a lot of the porn vids with the word porn.

I have no problem with them making a new +18 rating or even +21 rating but to but a term into it like porn is wrong IMO I prob wouldn't have ever watched them if they were labeled torture porn maybe that is what they want.

The 18+ rating is currently R. Which is readily available in our local video store not far from the kids section and occasionally at kid eye height. the r rated movies have gradually merged into main****** shelves over time. When I was younger the r rated horror and porn were sectioned off in its own little section labelled adults only, no children allowed.

It still is sectioned off in our video store. Well, the r rated porn stuff... Not horror or anything... But the covers aren't usually that graphic anyway.

Thats pretty interesting actually in the US we have G-R in video stores, you cant get porn which is rated X at normal videos stores you have to go to Adult shops for those.

Same here really but the stuff that is rated r is stuff you would see in any movie with heavy s3x scenes. The only difference? Absolutely no story line.

I think some of you are missing the point which really doesnt surprise me. What I am saying is if you can label movies as torture porn which dont have sex in them at all because its how its filmed in the same way porn is. Then why not label comedies with explicit sex scenes shot much like a porn would be comedy porn?

Its not a hard concept just some either are just trying to pick a fight or just dont get it although its pretty simple question. If you are ok with labeling these movies torture porn would you be ok with comedy porn or drama porn? Same concept really but I bet people who love comedies would not want them labeled that at all.
