Default What did your child(ren) do today that made your heart melt?

My 3 yo son met his new baby brother last night.
He walked in to the hospital room trying to find where the little cry was coming from!
He saw him in the bassinet and said
"my brother!- don't cry- here's your teddy, it's a present!" and gave him the wrapped present he'd brought in.

Id just given birth two hours earlier- it was just a beautiful moment!

My 5 week old DS woke up and gave his first big cheesy grin to me and DH this morning, then had cuddles with DH in bed

DD gave me a kiss when I got her up from her nap yesterday! Made me melt as she's not a very affectionate little thing. She also started holding out her hands to be wiped after eating, so proud! (She still hides her face though lol!)
This morning she followed me around everywhere... so inconvenient while trying to cook breakfast but made me feel loved at the same time.

I really enjoyed reading all of your stories! Just gorgeous!!!

Cleigh, your story cracked me up!!! Especially his reaction. Poor little mite didn't get what was so funny. That's a fantastic story to remember to tell at his 21st!

My 2yo DD said 'mummy your lovely' & gave me a big kiss & cuddle.

It makes coming home exhausted after a LONG day.....so much better!

She is the light of my life!

I was getting ready for work and my hair was half up and half falling out, tooth brush hanging out of my mouth, stockings on and a bra and DS (2.5) walked into the bathroom, looked at me for a minute and then said "wow mummy. You is a bootiful." it was the sweetest thing is have ever heard!

Not my bubba but my 3 year old niece... I was getting ready for my job interview this afternoon and once I was ready she looked up at me and said pretty princess!
