Default 21 weeks and bleeding :(

I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and today had a bit of brown blood when I wiped (sorry TMI). I went to my ob, she listened to bubs hb and it was fine 140 bpm, checked my cervix is closed. Bub is still moving around alot. I had my morph scan on Friday last week and everything is fine, my placenta isn't near my cervix. I'm going for an ultrasound tomorrow morning.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar ?

I'm trying not to freak out but that's easier said than done

I haven't experienced that but I just wanted to say that if you heard bubs heart beat and all looks good then i wouldn't worry (I know, easier said than done). Brown blood is old blood so it was probably just sitting there for a long time.
I'm sure everything is perfectly a-ok

Thanks ftm. I had an ultrasound this morning and everything looks fine, the sonographer couldn't see where the blood had come from. Going to the Dr this Arvo to get the results

Yep. That happened to me but apparently whilst it is not normal, it is very common. The fact that its brown blood indicates that it's old blood. So long as its not fresh red blood, you'll be fine

Saw the Dr yesterday, she said everything is fine but we can't dtd for a few weeks just to be safe. They couldn't see any cause of the bleeding and bub is fine .

A small amount of brown blood is definitely nothing to worry about -especially if the heartbeat is strong and ultrasound shows no problem. I've been spotting for 4-5 weeks now. I had an ultrasound, speculum and other tests when it started and everything was fine. They have no idea what is causing it, but suggested it just might be a sensitive cervix. I had my 20 week morph scan today and everything is still fine.

I know it's hard, but try not to stress. Hopefully the scan had given you some peace of mind. Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy.
