    Default Short skirts?

If it doesn't affect her work and her employers aren't bothered then where's the issue? I wouldn't make a complaint to a company if one of the representatives happened to be wearing a short skirt.. As long as she is comfortable then whatever, I would be more jealous that I wasn't confident enough to do the same! Lol

How tall is the woman in the OP?

15cm above the knee would be a long skirt on my very tall niece, and 15cm above the knee would be shorter than a thirst on my very short niece.

Does the workplace have a dress code?

If the woman in question was comfortable with her skirt, if her knickers remained her private business and it doesn't affect her productivity I don't see a problem, especially if the workplace doesn't have a dress code or so long as her skirt was within the specified dress code of the workplace.

I have a bigger problem with the OP labelling the woman in question as a prostitute - why do woman do that to each other? I think OP, you must harbour some very deep resentful feelings towards the young woman and suggest that you deal with your feelings and stop projecting them upon other people.

This is such a non issue that the only actual issue here is how women are policing how other women dress in 2012.

VicPark - are you a man? I'd really like to know.
Whattt... So unless you butt kiss all the liberal ladies in BH you hve a penis?

    Default Short skirts?

Ok in the interests of empirical research, on my way into work this morning (in the legal precinct in Melbourne) I've been counting the number of skirts I see that are well above the knee. I've lost count at 73. These people are all wearing suit jackets, heels etc and are clearly on their way to work in a professional workplace. I'd take some photos if it wouldn't appear creepy. Here's the length of my dress today.

Knee length. I saw a lady with a mini skirt on and black tights underneath, it didn't make it ok though

Nope - just asking, and you still haven't answered...Edit to add: Honestly, I'm just shocked that a woman could have the attitudes you show. "Femmos" is the label you give (with clear disdain) to women that believe others can wear what they want without being called a "hooker"?
And it's liberal to think a woman can wear a skirt 15cm above her knee and STILL be a professional? I'm with Benji - what planet are we on?

Nawww what's wrong sunshine your insecurities kicking in? Its just beyond me why women do this to each other.
I worked many years in an office and never even owned a knee length skirt.
They look ridiculous on me considering my body shape and height.

You can tell you're not from around here, prostitution is a legitimate profession here and they HAVE to be clean. Just saying. Op, I have no problem with that skirt length, but it depends on what she is doing. Was she overweight? Have hairy legs? Were her boobs hanging out all over the place?

    Default Short skirts?

Each to their own, if I could I would but its just not practical for me. I have the oddest shaped body and my "tailored" shorts look like boys skater shorts just below the knee LOL

I only WISH I could wear a short skirt like that *sigh*

My legs are too short, too old with cellulite, spider veins and fat knees. I cant remember wearing a dress/skirt of any kind! I am on the floor so much with the kids I have given up that fashion item a looooooooooong time ago!
