Just meaning she looked nice, had nice shoes on just the skirt was too short for the office. I have never seen a hooker look the way she did. She looked showered and nice clothes, and shoes.

    Default Re: Short skirts?

I wear a skirt to work some days and its always knee length. Same with the other women who i work with who wear skirts. We always wear stockings, the thick black/navy ones depending on wharlt colour skirt we wear.

I like that one. I think it's fine.

skirts below/at knee dont suit me as I have skinny mini legs and my little legs look like pencils sticking out the bottom. I have a good set of knees so shorter skirts look a LOT better. Knee length skirts look great on some women, just not me. And I won't change my attire for a few fuddy duddys (not you vic park, just the general supposed 'rules' out there).

thankfully I have never worked in an environment with any rules on skirts. Including the law firm where I had to work with grieving families and laughing was considered inappropriate. I wore my hooker skirts there, too!

You're flashing your prejudice and it's much more offensive than an above the knee skirt.

    Default Short skirts?

I think in that article how it say "skirts shouldn't be shorter then your fingertips when your arms are straight down your side" is a good general rule for an office

Prejudiced? How so because I am honest about what type of street walkers I have seen? I go by what I know and have seen.

You are privileged and you are prejudiced. You are making unfair judgements about women in circumstances that you couldn't even imagine - not in your worst nightmare.

    It's ignorant and it's offensive.

Well with my stupidly short arms I would be breaking decency laws if my skirt was that short, let alone office policy.
