    Default Pine Rivers Primary Schools.

    Hey Ladies.
Looking for some advice on local schools.
We bought in Bray Park back in May, but left our DS 9 at Brighton to finish out the year.
Am looking at Strathpine West, Bray Park, Bald Hills.
Does anyone have their kids in these schools?
And what opinions do you have on them??
    Ta :-)

It's not on your list, but St Paul's has a fabulous reputation and great extra curricular activities. It's at Bald Hills.

I went to Strathpine West lol. The current principal there is fantastic but I don't know too much more about it. Bald Hills has always had a great reputation and is a smaller school but if you're willing to go catholic, try Holy Spirit at Bray Park

Thanks ladies. Seems opinions are pretty consistent. Have heard good things on SWSS and BHSS and nothing too great about BPSS.
We are literally 400m from Holy Spirit, but we are a same sex parent family, and I dont think she will be accepted too well there.
Unfortunately St Pauls is way out of budget, plus again, religious schools arent an option.
Is there anything I have missed? Does Warner have a SS??

    Hi

We bought in Cashmere and have researched schools in the area extensively.

At the end of the day we decided on Holy Spirit School. Bald Hills is an excellent school but have an enrolment policy and you aren't in their zone. The only school I would consider otherwise is Albany Hills in fact I would have been very happy to go there.

My DD goes to the local catholic school in Bracken Ridge and one of her classmates is from a same sex family - they are treated exactly the same as all the other families at the school as are the Hindi family in the class next door. You might be surprised at how supportive Holy Spirit could be - might be worth a go is all

We will be sending our kids to Genisis Christian School in Warner. It's results are similar to st Paul's st 1/5 the price.
There is a very long waiting list though.
I've not heard good things about any public schools in the area.
