Cool Day - 29 Trying to beat the heat.

Day - 29 Trying to beat the heat.

After yesterday's melting into a puddle on the floor experience. I decide to get up at the crack of dawn, yes I do mean at first light and do my workout. Omg it still so hot but it is done . I think I might to invest in a fan and extension cord for that room. The big house has no power so everything is run off extension cords from the shed.
I find doing a workout first up in the morning before the kids get out of bed wakes me up, gives me energy and helps me through the morning rush. I still do a workout with the kids but I really love the one I get to do by myself. I find I can get into more when I don't have to worry about bumping into anyone.

That's an awesome plan, Jenny! Great minds think alike, I did my long workout this morning, too!

Yep GQ We are 2 very clever ladies, well at least you are and I am, well, me.

I am about to head over and do my next workout. Well when I find what my daughter did with the torch battery, when she put away the groceries. It is way to dangerous to go over there without a torch. There are bikes, scooters, circular saws, big planks, cornices, hammers, nails etc that I could trip on. The joys of living in a construction zones.

Anyhow it has been a busy day, I took my phone into telstra to have it look at as it was playing up. It was suppose to be a 5 min thing but turned out to be 2 and 1/2 hours, and I lost 400 photo's including all the ones of Danny birth. I do have a copy of most of them on my lappy but I am still sad (crazy I know).

We turned at my fake grandma's house for a pop by, only to find out they had waited lunch on us. We weren't planning on eating there. So here I am faced with a plate of super yummy food that there is no way I would normally eat when I am watching what I am eating. There was no way around it, I had to eat it, after all she is over 90 and she had spent all morning cooking this special meal for us. So I am not sure what the scales are going to say in the morning I just hope I don't put back on what it has taken me all week to take off.

It is pretty hard to knock back a meal from someone who has gone to lengths to prepare it for you, especially when they are 90. I'm sure there is some kind of kindly deed/calorie trading scheme that won't punish you.

I'm with SPG. Okay, so you had one bad meal and maybe it'll show on the scales tomorrow but try not to think so short term. Realistically you will NOT have put on even a kilogram of pure fat from one bad meal. You'll be bloated and maybe you won't burn as many fat calories as you would have that day but in the long term that one meal won't mean much to your weight loss whereas I'll bet it meant a whole lot in your "fake grandma's" heart.
