Default Are you good at remembering peoples birthdays?

I'm awful, and it's so embarrassing. I always think 'ohh must write that card' or 'must sms her', 'must get that toy in the post'... and about 3 times out of 4 I fail. I missed my mum's birthday a couple of weeks back. Just missed another friend's birthday on Sunday. I even forgot about DH's birthday in January

I used to be good but since the kids, with lack of sleep, such full busy days and 9,999 things to remember... somehow the birthdays slip past me.

Tell me I'm not the only one!

I suck at it as well! If I dont write it in the calendar on the wall there is no way I will remember.

I still cant remember my sisters bday....its either 27 or 29....just cant remember!!

Even with the kids I really have to focus to remember their DOB.

I'm good with immediate family and friends with Facebook... However we missed one of our closest friends birthdays for 2 years in a row because he didn't have Facebook!! Thankfully he now has Facebook so we haven't forgotten since, but it's such a horrible feeling!

I have a good memory with things like that. I can't even remember friends in high school birthdays :-/
Not sure why my short term memory is so crappy :-(

I remember my close friends & family.

DP doesn't have fb & I don't have his friends on mine personal choice.. I remember for him though.

I hate it when people say 'Happy birthday via fb' I think it's lazy & not thoughtful. I don't show my birthday.

Gothel- you can buy birthday diarys I have one it's great then every year I put the dates in my everyday diary

even if I write it down though I still manage to miss it. People I've known my whole life! My mum!

about the only people that get a bday wish from me are those on fb when it pops up in my newsfeed lol (yes it's lazy but it's better than nothing!)

Monnie that diary is a great idea, then all I have to do is *remember* to check it in time ha ha. I need a trigger. Hmmm I might try doing it with the bills. Bills & birthdays. Kind if like leaving your medicine next to your toothbrush

I use moonpig.com for my birthday cards. I've got all my close family and friends set up in there, so I get a reminder via email whenever one has a birthday coming up, then I just jump online, select a card, write a message, and hey presto!

Their cards are pretty awesome too
