    Default Amazon.com?

Has anyone brought from here before? What was your experience? I'm want to buy a few things on there but not sure how it works. What kind of protection do you have? Is it like eBay or is amazon an actual shop that has everything or a shop service that gets things for you and then sends them off? Also where is it, in America? And share whatever else you think I need to know thanks so much

Yep it's in America, and I've used it often with no problem. It's like an online shop, you only 'deal' with one entity. Things may be posted separately depending on which 'department' your purchases come from.

Regardless of where you buy online, always make sure that you keep an eye on your credit card to make sure that there are no additional fees or dodgy transactions, but that's a standard thing and no relfection on Amazon.

It's brilliant. There is also a UK amazon.

Just be aware they won't ship some items to Australia (certain brands of clothes, most baby stuff, and other random things) but once you have entered your shipping address it will alert you to that.

Books are no worries, but you might find if you are looking at baby stuff (prams, breast pump equip etc) that they won't ship to australia.

Thanks everyone it's not baby stuff mainly christmas presents (toys) and iPhone/ipad covers. I'll be using a prepaid credit card too because I'm wary of online shopping.

    Default Amazon.com?

I've ordered DVDs and toys from them numerous times. Had no problem- fast shipping. The only issue I have is that they won't ship Lego to Australia 😒. I wanted to order the 'friends' Lego for Xmas gifts as they are so much cheaper over there, most close to half price.

I've ordered dvds and cds in the past and they can be seriously slow, not uncommon to take 4 weeks plus for some of the music i've ordered. I wouldn't risk it for xmas.
