You can always look to the goddesses for inspiration! I'm not religious at all, but I love mythology - expecially Greek.

We named our daughter Athena Elizabeth (Elizabeth is a middle name that's been in our family for generations.

Even though middle names aren't used every day, it's great to have a more "normal" middle name IMO - that way if the child feels her name is too different, she can use her middle name for every day use instead.

Let us know how you go! And I do agree that particularly with unusual names it's best to have one that's still somewhat -known- - that way you're less likely to have to spell it out all the time (probably my one regret naming my son "Lochlan" - always have to point out the "o" and people still get it wrong >_<)

DDs name is Farrah, and I always get comments from people about how unique/different it is. I love it, suits her perfectly

I have a common name thst has about 4 different spellings and to add to thst my spelling is none of the normal spellings. Very frustrating. If we have a girl we r calling her Maya pronounced may-ah.

Aurelia - an old, old fashioned name but still very unique. Was in Love Actually!
