Default Spinoff: can someone recommend me good shapewear

After reading the other thread, I am intrrested in getting some shapewear. I have a wedding to attend and would like something that will help hold my tummy tighter so i dont look pregnant (have already had a number of people ask - no i am not). I bought a cheapie pair which was no good as after a short while the top part rolled down and no longer covered my tummy (hope that makes sense).

Anyway which brand have you found good and where did you buy it from and did they feel confortable on?
I have seen some at target, are they any good?
    Thanks in advance!

I have nancy gantz 'bike shorts' which are really good and have lasted ages and well worth the money.

I got some dress/slip type on special from Big W for $5 last week, and I didn't expect them to be great but worth a reasonable for a few wears each. I got the bigger size that I thought I would need and it's like wearing an elastic band, I can't walk in them! I didn't try them on at the time (for $5 I was happy to take the risk) but if you can try them on, give it a go.

I would like a shapewear 'dress' that had removable straps. Don't know if they exist but that would be perfect.

Bella Bodies Shapewear is about to come up on sale on buyinvite.com
I have not worn any but just noticed your thread and remember seeing the upcoming sale at the bottom of the site. They are currently selling on ozsale.com but don't have much left. Usually 60-70 bucks but down to 10-25 on sale. Seems like a quality brand and the size chart helps you buy the right one (l checked in case my mum wanted some).

They have shapewear dresses in this brand. Beware if you buy from these sites, it will take about 3 weeks for your items to arrive.

Good luck, and I hope you look great at the wedding!

Target stock Spanks brand shapewear. I've been wearing the Cool Assets bike shorts ones (to prevent chaffing) and have liked them so far. They probably drop me a dress size.

I just checked, and ozsale only has Bella Bodies Fashion, but buyinvite still has shapewear in some sizes.

"Hold me tight" is awesome. hard to get into sometimes as they really do hold you very tight. you can get them in big W and online. they are not overly cheap but worth every cent.

    I recommend Spanx!

DS is 4 months old and I'm still getting asked if I'm pregnant, but my Spanx do a good job of holding everything in.

I also bought some of the Skinny Girl shapewear by Bethenny Frankel from OzSale (mentioned previously), and they're good too, just not as heavy duty as the Spanx.

Oh, and I bought my Spanx off eBay.

I've found these to be the best.

    http://www.carlisleaccessories.com.a...her-power.html

Everything else I tried, including other Spanx designs, rolled or were too rigid. These work but are not too constricting and the fabric is much more soft and breathable.

If you're going to spend the money on one good pair, then I'd recommend getting the nude shade. Black isn't great for underneath light coloured clothes.

If you get those spanx ones you should check out US sites like ShopBop. You can get two pairs for the same price as one pair here.
