    Bought one a few weeks ago. I love it. Exactly the same as the normal size iPad just lighter and smaller. I use mine for reading etc so smaller was way better. Fits easily in your handbag.

    Thanks for the reply. I love my iPad 2, but I find it just a bit chunky to carry around for reading etc. am considering selling mine, or donating it to the school and upgrading.

    The mini is way less chunky and way lighter. I don't notice it in my handbag and its really light to read with in bed. User function and app wise they are the same as ipad2's

    What about surfing the net - like inputting data etc? Too fiddly?

    No I find it fine but I am used to using my phone. Keyboard is a decent size so it's easy to use for both web and any input
