    Default Mini pill and nausea?

I've been on the mini pill (breastfeeding) for nearly 8 weeks and am finding myself more and more nauseous and light headed each day, from late morning to late afternoon every time. It feels a lot like morning sickness but I'm not pregnant.

I did a google and found that nausea and dizziness are known side effects of the mini pill but that they usually go away after 6-8 weeks of taking it.

Has anyone else experienced increasing nausea rather than decreasing as the weeks wore on? I'm thinking I'm going to stop taking it tomorrow and see if the problem resolves as it's so debilitating. What are my contraception alternatives?

    Default Mini pill and nausea?

I'd speak to your GP but definitely stop if it's making you nauseous. I started on the mini pill about 8 weeks after having DS but I found it really affected my moods so I came straight off it. I can't find another female contraceptive that I'm comfortable with as the rest seem too invasive for me personally. Your GP can go through the options with you.
