Right so 22,000 lightening strikes in 4 hours.

    that was fun.

    End of the world?

I was so scared last night. And then more thunder last night.

My house got wet inside and i am hoping the rain or another storm holds off til about 1:30pm as i have to go to work.

    Default Brisbane storms....

I'm not up there but my sister flew in just before the storms started and sent me a load of photos of the lightning. If I were up there I would've wet my pants several times - scary

My son was scared for the first morning storm hit, but splashing in puddles made it less scary and more fun. He loved the over flowing water tank lol

The thunder and lightning was huge and so close though. Kept feeling the house shudder.

Oh well. Phone charged. Torches handy, candles and lighters easy to reach, and non-cook food available.I'm set jic

We aren't in Brisbane, but have a house in Cashmere - can anyone tell me how that area fared?

Cashmeres just round the corner from me - we were ok here, lots of noise and rain and we lost power but nothing like the city and the south side. Haven't heard of any major damage or floods out this way so your house should be fine.
