We do my DS is 7 and has always loved getting new shoes and clothes... It's usually only Kmart or big W stuff but he loves keeping stylish I guess.

We don't give any clothes. I see them as a need seperate to xmas and I felt annoyed as a kid bc I felt my mum double dipped by giving me all the season's clothes as christmas presents. I hardly ever got toys, or really anything that wasn't a piece of clothing.

Just wanted to know if I'm the norm or not.

Clothes in our house for Christmas are 2nd to the toys. My parents also tried to get out of toys for us by giving extra clothes and it was stuff I hated (I love my mum but she has the worst taste lol)

No!! I may choose to give clothes when he is a teen and asking for really expensive clothing (as I did!) but I think it is a boring gift for under 12's. Clothes are essential, not a treat.

You said it so much better than me! That's what I wanted to say but didn't know how to word it...my brain is on holiday!

Yes we do. I like to give them a nice out fit to wear on Christmas day and they also get new swimmers every year. They do get lots of toys though.
