    Default Pelvic Congestion

Im 19 weeks pregnant with twins and have been have severe pressure, cramps and discomfort. Yesterday after a panic and emergency trip to the ob, they said I have pelvic congestion (varicose veins in the pelvic region). Babies were fine, cervix was fine... So Im really relieved. But, the ob told me it will just get worse and more uncomfortable
Anyone else had any issues with this?

    Default Pelvic Congestion

    Hi op
I had this in my last pregnancy bub #2 and some things that helped were elevating your legs when you can, trying not to stand for long periods of time, wearing support stockings and wearing firm underwear can help. It is a real pain but it does go away after birth (a few days later). Also sleeping on your left side helps to as there is less compression of the major veins in the abdomen/groin that leads to varicose veins. Hth
