    Default Long term bc problems.

Just trying to connect with others who have or had issues after taking bc.

I stopped last dec and have only had two periods. Previous to bc i had regular normal cycles.

What problems did/do you have? How long did it take to fix? What did/are you do to fix problems?

    Default Long term bc problems.

Have you had hormone levels tested and an internal ultrasound looking for PCOS? Have you got any other symptoms of PCOS? Absent periods was first sign of something being up for me. Gp did bloods which indicated some imbalance, then internal ultrasound showed up the cysts. I also have thin hair and at the time bad skin but that's settled right down now.

I was then referred to a fertility specialist who I saw for 8 months and was booked for my first lap in dec but just got my BFP so no need now
I wouldn't think your gp would be sending you for a lap though? That's usually specialist domain and clomid really depends on what the problem is, again I'd be seeing a specialist before starting that.

Also note that some specialists have long waits, I booked in dec for beginning of march, this time of year they are flat out and then take leave over Christmas.

Hope you get some answers soon

Sorry gp sent me straight to specialist... Had internal and external ultrasound two lots of blood work all normal no sign of pcos or anything else. No other symptom other than lots of mild cramping. Specialist said next step laporoscopy to do dye test to check tubes and then chlomod to stimulate ovulation.
