    Default Good schools in Townsville

One last question (sorry!!). My 5 year old has been the subject of serious bullying since about 2.5 years old. Since starting at the Christian college here, her confidence has improved- never seen her so confident and happy. How are Calvary and Annandale on regards to dealing with/preventing bullying?

The nearest state high school to bushland beach is northern beaches but it is an awful school. Really rough, avoid it if you can

Pimlico is the best state high school in Townsville (in my opinion, I visit a lot of schools for my job)

Annandale is great. I have a ASD and an ADHD child and bullying is never tolerated. Jenny (MRS B) door is always open to parents. You will often find her outside in the pick up area after school chatting with the kids and parents. She has even offered to pick up and drop off my kids when I was sick. She knows every kids name. She is wonderful.

None! Northern beaches is horrible. The next closest is Kirwan high, it's huge and kids tend to get a bit lost and forgotten there.

Both are enrolled at Annandale Christian college. 15 year old asked of she could because she thinks (and I quote) "the private schools seems to offer a better education".
