    Default Good schools in Townsville

Can people please recommend some good schools in Townsville? Not sure what area we will be in yet so any suburb is fine.

We have DD1 going into prep next year. She currently attends Pre-Prep at a Christian College and would like for her to continue at a Christian College. We also have a 15 year old who will be starting year 11 next year so any good State High Schools as well.

    Thanks

My son goes to Good Shepherd Catholic Community School at Rasmussen. Love it and cannot recommend it enough but it will definitely depend on where you live. You may be leaving it late to get her into prep for 2013 in a private school. Theyve usually allocated their spaces by now.

We will be living around Bushland Beach area, found out today. Most schools here have only just started taking enrolments. She is enrolled in the Christian college here.

We love Annandale christian college. It is a smallish pre-prep to 12 school.

What is your SIL into as some of the schools are better than others in PE/Arts etc...

    Calvery is a bigger school.

I just did a bit of research and because my 5 year old is already attending and enrolled in a Christian College in QLD she can just transfer to another. Makes it easier. And according to Calvary website they are still taking enrolments.

15 year old... Mixed bag really. She is a very intelligent girl and gets mostly a's and b's across the board. She excels in agriculture studies and animal husbandry. She has had a very troubled past and can lash out sometimes so I need a school who will be understanding of that and deal with her appropriately.

I don't know much about calavry as my lot go to annandale, I know at annandale are used to kids that have hard backgrounds and a great support network. My eldest finished yr 12 there last year and I have 4 others that attend there now.
If you want them to go to the same school they have a capped rate and will do a discount for you if you ask. You can pm me if you want too.
