    Default Ex fiancees engagement ring.

Yeah I wouldn't wear it. I even kicked up a stink when my DF wore a ring his ex bought him. Not happening, ever. Even if it was redesigned still not right. I think traditionally it's bad luck to wear the rings of a broken relationship/marriage.
Yes eBay or gumtree. Or also those Facebook garage sales! I've seen them on there all the time.

I wouldn't use it either, in any shape or form.
Especially since you said she took him for everything else.
Don't mediums use jewellery to connect with a spirit or even just to get a reading on a live person, I reckon it would hold some bad luck in there.
I wouldn't like to chance my relationship on it.

    Default Ex fiancees engagement ring.

I would be happy wearing it if it was redesigned into a ring of my choice

    Default Ex fiancees engagement ring.

Definitely wouldn't want to wear it - don't think I'd even like it remodeled.

Why don't you try one of those 'gold buyers' stalls in shopping centres? They won't take the diamond, but you could sell that separately.

I recently sold all my REALLY old and faded gold jewelry from my teens and 20's - got about $350!

I agree with you op, a $200 dollar ring would be priceless if your DF picked it out just for you. I'd sell and go on a holiday!

I wouldn't want to wear the ring either, I ring bought just for you albeit half the price is more special than an expensive ring that wasn't picked for you.

I would feel weird also.... you could consider pawning it off but be warned you'll get a pittance unfortunately

Default Re: Ex fiancees engagement ring.

I might suggest we buy me a totally different ring, sell his and use the money towards the wedding.

I don't think I'd be comfortable with it even if it was remodelled.
