It infuriates me when people are walking slow or blocking an aisle and are completely oblivious to other people. I'm in a hurry MOVE

Let me know by making a noise or something lol

You sound like you had a great day though ahhaha Other people annoy me when Im out especcially on the road hahaha My kids have noticed the colourful words coming out my mouth!!!
I purposely make my presence known as I approach. I talk aloud to DP or cough or sniff or something. Then I wait close enough to get noticed but not all up in their space...then I do the polite loud voice 'excuse me'...if that is ignored I say it again. I have had that ignored once or twice before and have moved peoples trolleys so I can get past. You dont NEED to take up a whole isle...whats wrong with having the trolley parallel to the shelves so there is still space to pass?

You don't happen to live nearby do you? Sounds like some of the lovely... erm... characters... we have out here.

I hate inconsiderate fools at the shops, on the road, as a part of general life. I'm sure I am at times in people's way, but I never knowingly block an aisle, and my daughter is always being told to move or whatever, to get out of the way too. If she EVER made a mess of random bags in a shop, I'd crack the sh*ts. She knows it too - I'm strict about manners, they are not optional.

I just don't get people who don't know how to behave in public.

Lol. I feel like a bit of a parental snob sometimes... whenever we go anywhere where there are numerous other kids, I often note to DP, "I never realise how well behaved DD is until we go to places like this..."

Just things like parents ignoring their kids while their kids (not toddlers, like 8, 9, 10 year olds) kicking them (the adults), or letting their kids pull things from shelves and just leaving it there. Kids running around and into random people/people with heavy trolleys... I mean, even if only for their own child's safety, they'd say, "Hey, a busy shop is no place to play silly games like that."

Then again, they probably just think I'm an uptight b*tch. lol.

Default Re: Does Anyone Give A Sh!t About Other People Anymore?

Hey, everyone stop knocking the city! I live in the city and i very very rarely come across behaviour that really peeves me. Maybe there's some phenomenon where people who live in really sparsely populated and really densely populated places get along a lot better, and it's the places in the middle that are poo heads. My theory is that when you live cheek by jowl you have to be a bit more tolerant.

Default Does Anyone Give A Sh!t About Other People Anymore?

This thread has reminded me of how much I absolutely despise waiting when I'm pregnant. I am so impatient. If someone is blocking my way at the shops it is all I can do not to scream "MOVE!".

    Random lambjam pregnancy symptom #17.

    As you were.

On the inside Im going "oh no, please, take your damn time selecting from the two identical products..I just came here to observe the f*ckwit in its natural habitat" ......the polite "excuse me" saves me from getting my head bashed in. I do often mumble at idiots who push me over the edge...things like "just take up all the room" or "didnt realise I was invisible" ...DP hates it because he says one day I am going to mumble to the wrong person and he will have to do the right thing and protect me from the crazy person I just mumbled at.
