You can have it if you cook it yourself. Don't use ham unless you heat it, but you could do a bacon one.

I like to mix tuna, whole grain mustard, mayo, lemon juice and spring onion or red onion with salt and pepper. Then top the potato with that and add cheese. Oh nom nom nom

In our house we call it: potatoes in their jackets (i think my mum called it that?)

I do it with like a mexican bean/mince over the top, with cheese, sour cream and avo!

It sounds like a baked potato. I'm not a fan, because I'm not really much of a potato-eater anyway, but I do remember one with corn and bacon and some other bits and pieces that was quite nice (the combo of salty bacon with sweet corn kernals was nice).

You can do crispy potato skins that you fill with toppings too though, but that requires you removing the inside (to make mash or something to serve with it? I think that's what my mother did).

We call them 'Jacket Potatoes' in our house.

I like sour cream, spring onion, grated cheese and bacon.

Creamed corn is a yummy and healthy substitute for sour cream.

My lazy lazy dinner is a medium potato, stab it all over with a fork, microwave 4 mins then cut it twice across the top and dump on a flavoured tuna (John West tomato and onion is my fave) and some grated cheese.

Takes 5 minutes, relatively healthy if you use the light tuna

I'm going to try that some time! Sounds a bit more tasty than toast

    We call them loaded potato's

I pick them in four or five spots with a fork. If I am in a hurry I microwave the 3 mins for the first one and add a 1 min for every potato after that, to max of 8 mins.
Than I put them on the foil square, sprinkle with season all and paprika and a really small drizzle of olive oil. Wrap and cook in the oven for 10 to 15 mins.

If I have time I pricked, season and wrap them put straight in the oven for 45 mins.

    toppings any combo of
    bacon
    pineapple
    mince
    chili
    cauliflower in white sauce
    tuna
    salsa
    pretty much anything..

    with
    cheese
    sour cream

I have always called them stuffed spuds/ stuffed potatoes

I love Hawaiian sort of ones with bacon, cheese, pineapple, sour cream and topped with some chives.

On another note, potato skins are also very yummy same principle just scoop out halved potato, mash potato with cheese, bacon etc and put back in the skins and bake (or do you bake the skins before and after filling???)

    Loaded potatoes

We bake ours until the outside is crispy and the inside is soft. Then top with coleslaw, shallots, sour cream, cheese and chilli sauce or sweet chilli sauce. DH adds bacon bits to his.
