    Default Auto correct blunders

Ok, kind of a spin off from the grammar threads. How have you been the victim of auto correct?

the auto correct on my phone is constantly switching ate with are. So when I type something like "they are victims" it might come up as "they ate victims". I almost accused someone of being contentious instead of conscientious yesterday.

    Default Auto correct blunders

Slightly different thing ... More trying to type on iPhone toofast and pressing the wrong letters- ie the ones next to it.

My friend sadly lost someone they were close to and had posted on face book.

I tried to write. 'Im so sorry....... (Then would have put 'hunny etc' after. But it came out as...

'Im so dirty mmmmm' - the mmmm was my desperately trying to press delete and pressing m instead as its next to that key. Omg I had to be so careful deleting that posting and not pressing send!

Mine worst one was a work email to an important client called Eleri. My work outlook corrected it from 'Dear Eleri' to 'Dear Alien' automatically on sending. Not the best way to start a business negotiation.
Thank goodness she had a sense of humour.
I felt like such an idiot.
