    Posting here for traffic

I'm thinking of taking DS for a holiday somewhere over Xmas on one of those last minute package deal options. We were supposed to be in Bali RIGHT NOW, but DH leaving 6wks ago ruined that sadly due to the short notice of canceling, I could only get a partial credit, not refund (was lucky to even get that since BFF works at Flight Centre).

He will be 15.5mths and hopefully walking by then! I'm also be about 28wks pregnant, so just want relaxation and time to chill, play in pool etc There's not much more you can really do with a bub so young I assume.

I'm thinking Fiji, Vanuatu etc has anyone been to these places with young children? Can you recommend anywhere else, considering I'm travelling on my own with him? (not Bali or QLD please)

Why not Kangaroo Island in SA?

Fly to Adelaide, the bus and ferry it to KI. Your DS Will live the Ferry!

Is that a relaxing destination though with a beach or pool etc? Or just 'nature' type?

I agree with Fiji, Denarau is not too far from the airport and has great hotel options which will have kids club/baby sitting services which you could use. There is also a small shopping centre with a few restaurants which is good for a change of scenery.

Fiji is fantastic, while we went as just a couple, the Shangri La is very child friendly, kids stay and eat free. They have a kids club, and while your little one might be too young to appreciate it, the staff really love the kids and will go out of their way to make sure they have a good time. Can't wait to head back there, hoping to go in July or August 2014 when our bub is about 18 months old :-)
