    Default The tantrum tunnel?

    Hi everyone.

I've been contacted by a journalist from a Qld newspaper who is looking for parents' opinions on the new checkout systems in stores like Big W and Target.

"Do any of them have any feedback of this being a tantrum tunnel with tantalising lollies' toys and soft drinks the whole way along at knee height. Have they found this troublesome? Coming up to Xmas it can be a long wait in these pathways with all kinds of treats everywhere. Do parents miss the confectionery-free checkout option?"

If you have an opinion you can email the reporter direct on sinnertonj @ qnp.newsltd.com.au (without the spaces)

    thanks.

We avoid it by saying no, who cares if your kid chucks a tanty doesn't mean you gotta give in. In saying that I do think there should be specific aisles that are lolly free
