Default Who had a cabbage patch doll when they were younger?

Ohhhh my poor cabbage patch doll...
.. I can't remember his real name but I named him Thomas. I think I got him in the early 90s.. I was a little tacker..
I don't know where he is .. But I remember giving him a haircut
.. My poor bald, patchy haired Thomas.

I still have my cabbage patch baby. She sits on my bed and my kids are not allowed to touch her. Have had it for over 20 years.

Both my DDs have one as well

I have two that I got in 85 and 86 respectively. One was a total baldy named Bathsheba Camilla and the other was mostly bald but with a little tuft of yellow hair and she was called Helena Juliet. My kids love them.

This thread is bringing back sooo many memories!!!

I have 3 CP dolls - one for my 5th bday, one for my 6th bday and one for my 27th bday!!! Mum got me that one because she found one with my birthday and all my childhood I had looked for one with my bday!!

I had a Magic Nursery doll and a Rigadoon too. I had sooo many dolls and loved them soo much! The only one I never got was a My Child doll, I was jealous of my friend who had one haha!

I had two Fern Wendy which is a baby and Jane Audrey which is a little girl with pigtails. My DD has now inherited both.
Not a fan of the new ones either so my old ones are the only ones she has.

My mum always put ours in the washing machine, it's how I got my fingers tangled in her hair trying to pull her out of the twin tub during the spin cycle. When she recently found them for me she put them through the wash and they came out fine. Still covered in texta though.

I found a preppy boy with a Mohawk and called Wilfred that I was so tempted to buy my dd, but I refuse to spend $68 on a doll just cause it resembles one I had when I was a kid. I'm still going to find a Myer in Melb next week and see if they have any that appeal as much while they're half price though.
