I hate my stomach, I desperately need a tummy tuck to remove a LOT of excess skin... I wouldn't show anyone.

But if someone said to me, we will pay for your tummy tuck if you go on this show about it, I'd be there with bells on.

Because in the long run- I won't be embarrassed about my stomach any more.
    Oh yes I agree!
I have excessive amounts of loose skin from 50kg weight loss the op is $30k!! I can afford that!!
I would show it all on tv to get rid if it all

I remember the toe nail one
I hate feet with a passion! I couldn't watch it.

what is the health system in the UK like?? do they have medicare type options over there? I should imagine if the show was done in the US you'd have a massive queue of people lining up .. lol
A friend who had lived in the UK for a while told me that the NHS is great....if you can get on a doctors books but they are so horrendously booked up, so if you can't get in to see a gp, you have to wait in casualty to be seen. Not sure how accurate this it. I guess if it is true, having a few doctors roll into town and offer to take you in and get you sorted and even send you off to specialists etc, you might be prepared to suck it up.

I always just figured it was a combination of knowing they would get treatment and having it paid for. If you have had trouble either being seen by a dr in the first place or if you haven't been taken seriously or any past treatment that has not helped then i can see why you might go on a show like this, as a last resort type of thing.
Yes, it means having to share your embarrassment on tv but it also means getting specialist help quickly, if i was miserable with a condition that needed fixing then i would be tempted to go on the show - knowing it could be fixed is good incentive.

I went to bed early last night but did they actually show that guy squeeze 'almost green cheese' like stuff out of his tonsils after all that? How gross! Who can squeeze their tonsils without gagging?...THEN add the ick factor of green cheese like stuff coming out of it and Id hurl for sure.
