    Default Embarrassing Bodies

I watch Embarassing Bodies every week and one thing I really don't understand are the patients that have left issues so long because they are embarrassed but they are comfortable having their problem to be shown on international television.

Does anyone else wonder about this?

Ive always wondered this too! I think Ive heard a few of the people say that they are so mortified with their problem and that's why they haven't gone to a doctor, yet they will show it on camera :/ And its not like they dont show much, It's quite a graphic show lol

I really don't understand either! I googled a little while ago as I was intrigued why people actually go on the show. Apparently they get paid so I'm not sure whether that's the main reason, though I can't imagine it being that much money?

And also who pays for the treatment? Maybe that is the incentive?

You're probably right about the financial incentives, but still... If it was something involving my vagina (or penis if I had one lol) there is no way I would be comfortable enough to show it on camera.

I just copped a massive vag in my eyeball a few minutes ago.
For thrush! Seriously! Wasn't even that exciting.
All treatments are paid for by the show.
I'm sure the buried p3nis guy just has chics lining up : S

The STD ones are the worst, I think all teenagers (and some adults) should be made to watch those episodes lol.

yeah I assume that everything that they get done is paid for ..

what is the health system in the UK like?? do they have medicare type options over there? I should imagine if the show was done in the US you'd have a massive queue of people lining up .. lol
