    Hi all!!!

Hope everyone is doing well, very excited that winter is here and babies should start arriving.

Vivre- I've been thinking on the whole wax thing too and while I'm not looking forward to the pain I think ill get done close to 38 weeks just so I don't have to worry about it!

Addie- thanks for the tips about in hospital what a big big help...the lists are endless as to what you 'should' takeImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1370471691.872016.jpg

Samarasmum- so excited you have your name picked! We're the same haven't told anyone our choices and just keep saying we have a short list. Our weekend away was good although I've never seen rain like it in Adelaide, just stayed inside the B&B the entire time. How many days to go for you now?

Nat- I've tried attaching a pic of our gender neutral nursery. I like your plans for yours, and think its amazing your twins are doing so well, hopefully they behave just as well when they arrive.

We had our first baby class on Tuesday and saw the labour/maternity ward which was good, also got to see a 2 day old baby having a bath which was awesome he was so tiny!! Off to meet our OB's backup today for our checkup, hoping bubs hasn't gotten any further ahead of where it should be size wise.

Wow Hope - great pic of nursery! You're so organised!! Your nursery is gorgeous and you've done really well with the gender-neutral, it would certainly suit either. Well done!! We look forward to doing ours. It's been a very rough couple of weeks with being sick, hubby away and then my gorgeous Labrador died on Friday, only 16 months old. So I've been pretty devastated and home feels pretty yuck without her, so the nursery is my goal this long weekend to try to make myself feel better and be excited about home again. I'm sure it will be a good pick-me-up when we get into it. Can't wait to hear baby news on here soon ladies!!!

Sorry to hear about your puppy Nat

    Hope, that nursery is gorgeous..

Not much news from me, first week off and Ive never been so busy in my life. I had a list a mile long of things to do and trying to do as much as can as well as rest.

Had about 3 Drs appointment this week and everyone is happy. Even manage to get one 120/80 BP result which was a huge achievement considering all the other ones have been much higher. We have another ultrasound next week so looking forward to seeing the gorgeous bub and see how much she has grown.

Samarasmum, getting so close for you.. Hope you are relaxed and ready to go!

Oh Nat that's so sad about your puppy :-( I'm so sorry. We have a nearly 4 year old chocolate lab who is our whole world I just can't imagine. Doing the nursery is a great idea to cheer you up!! I go in there whenever I feel down and it makes it so much more real plus I like all the baby sized stuff it's too cute.

Vivre yay for good BP! I always feel like I'm winning if mines behaving (I'm not high, just higher side of normal 140-80) well done on getting heaps accomplished I can't wait to finish up

Saw the OB today, bubs is still measuring more than 2 weeks ahead so will ask my actual OB when I see him Tuesday week for more info. To quote the back up OB "WOW how big was your first"...me:"this is my first".."oh well ill just make a note"

After 2 weeks part time I've somehow been convinced to go back full time for the next 3 weeks as of today *sigh* the money will be handy and I'm doing lighter duties..we stupidly bought a new family car before selling my little car and as luck would have it have had it on the market 8 weeks with only 1 call :-( nothing on any of the websites in Adelaide is selling grrrr.

NAT256 That is great news that the twins are doing well. I have been going through my nursery as I have been using it as a storage room. I found a bonus in there and found 12 packets of wipes. So sorry to hear about your dog. Pets are a part of the family and it is hard when you lose them so young. How is the nursery going?

Hope2487 Love the nursery. Our little man will be here in 2 weeks. I hope you sell your car soon.

Vivre That is good that you BP is down. Hopefully it stays that way. I am starting to get nervous. I know I shouldn’t because it is #3 but I am at a different hospital and read that DH is not allowed in recovery with me.

Chances Doesn’t it feel great to finish work. It just means it is getting closer.

A big to everyone. I hope everyone is going well.

AFM I had my last OB appointment yesterday and my little man is about 3.2kg. I see the midwife next Monday and on the Friday I go and see the anaesthetist and go for Blood tests. We are all booked in for the 25th and I have to be at the hospital at 6:30am

Samarasmum I think its perfectly normal to be freaked out, no matter how many babies you have had. Rest assured we will be all thinking of you and sending positive vibes on the 25th.
I still cant believe we are getting to the stage that our happy little group are getting to the stage where we get to meet our little ones. Somedays it seems to have take a really long time but at the moment especially, i think its all on fast forward.

We are off for a 34 week growth scan today, Obs thinks that she has gone through in his words, a considerable growth spurt (a bit like her momma) over the last few weeks so cant wait to see her again

Back from another Ob appointment. Bub is comfortably breech (and has been for the last 10 weeks), so Ob doesn't think she will turn. Measuring slightly ahead and no sign of any of the bleeding issues for the last 8 weeks, so all in all very happy.

I'm still slightly anaemic and now it is a battle between iron tablets and constipation.

Can't believe we are all getting so close, so exciting.

So DJnette, have you planned a caesar or are you still waiting to see?
Dont envy you with the iron problem, sounds like the opposite of fun.

We had our 34 week growth scan yesterday and bubs is 2.44kgs (60%) so everyone is over the moon. She wouldnt sit still for the whole scan which was quite funny and we even got to see a small glimpse of a 3d version of her face which certainly brought a tear to our eye.

The bad news however is I went to visit Obs afterwards and Ive tested positive for protein and in addition to swelling, continued high blood pressure and a few other factors, its starting to look like early signs of pre-eclampsia . I have to start having more tests tommorow in hospital and twice a week from now on to keep any eye on it. Obs hopes we'll get to 38 weeks (I'm 34w4days now) but raised the possibility we may not get passed 36w. I of course then got told to relax.

Is there any statement that raises your stress levels more than being told to relax

Vivre Yeah I agree it seems like it has gone so fast and our babies will be in our arms before we know it. I hope you get to 38 weeks.

DJ Nette That is great news that you haven’t had any signs of bleeding for the last 8 weeks. I understand about the iron tablets and constipation. I have the same battle and trying everything I can not to be constipated. Will you be delivering early?

    A Big to everyone else.

AFM I did a tour of the Hospital on Wednesday. I also received my appointment for the anesthetist for Friday week. It is getting really close now
