Hi ladies, just a quick update from me. Had my 20 week scan and ob appt this week. All is looking good and it was great to see bubs on the screen. Didnt find out the gender leaving it as a surprise. Starting to pop out and looking and feeling pregnant now. Half way mark tomorrow.

Hello again, glad to hear everyone is going really well. Question for the group, when did you start feeling bubba move every day? This is our second, and we're due in August.

    Hi everyone

Have been home on the couch for a week. Will attempt to go back to work (at least for some of the day tomorrow).

Chances - don't mean to worry you about the public system. Where are you, I am in a regional centre so that might explain some of it. Saying that they were brilliant in emergency and stabilised me very quickly. Under the public system you aren't counted as maternity till after 20 weeks, so I was in the general womens ward, without any midwives. When I got to the private it was the middies who made all the difference, so it might be a completely different story once you are actually in the maternity ward.

I still haven't felt any movement yet. Starting to get worried (even though I have had an ultrasound every 3rd day for the last 3 weeks so I know all is ok). I will be 19 weeks on Tuesday, so hopefully will start to feel something soon.

Starting to waiver on keeping the gender a surprise. Might be nice to refer to bub as he or she and be a little more organised.

Is anyone else completely confused about prams? Any thoughts/ideas from people who have prams most welcome.

Welcome to all the new people, looks like our thread is getting a bit popular.

Nette, glad your doing well. Take it carefully at work tomorrow. X

    Welcome to the new ladies!

As for movement, a lot can depend on where your placenta is and previous pregnancies. I have felt movement from 14 weeks with this one and get kicked loads now. This is baby no 3. DS was no 2 and he was 17 weeks for movement. DD was 21 weeks but she was baby 1 and placenta was anterior.

Sorry it's a quick one, been sick all weekend. Just starting to feel a bit better
