    Hi Ladies
I thought I would join you, since the reality of finally having a baby sinks in
Im 14 weeks along after second cycle of ivf, had terrible ohss, end up in hospital for a week and had to be drained, then came nausea , but I think I'v been lucky it went away at 10 weeksnow feeling mostly fine (except awful constipation)and being tired all the time...
Had 12 week NT scan, all was good and the bubbie was really cute. Saw my ob yesterday and he said my belly is still hard and the ovaries are still enlarged
so the baby belly isn't really a baby belly just yet....
can't wait for my 19 week scan, it seems so far away.......

LillyStar I got my bump early as I have had previous pregnancies.

    DJNette
    How are you going?

Chances That is great that you have finished a big project. So is there any chance of relaxing now?

Vivre Are you going to find out the sex?

Dyso80 Majority of girls clothes are cute and irresistible.

    Addiegirl How are you going?

Gregiada That is great that your NT scan was all good. Are you going to find out the sex?

A Big to everyone else. I hope everyone has had a good week.

I had a low Placenta with DD and from what I understand this time it is worse than hers as it is posterior so no real chance of it moving. I will be having a scan at every OB appointment as my pregnancy is high risk. Because of my past. I have to have a C-Section as it is not advisable for me to go naturally.

    Hi all

Chances - I was a little out with my guess. I'm an engineer/project manager and overloading everyone is pretty much standard operating in the industry. That said my actual manager and all the people in my office have been fantastic and supportive of everything that is going on.

Lillystar - I'm not sure of a bump but nothing fits properly anymore and the sink seems to have moved closer. At only 15 weeks I'm a bit worried about how big I'll end up.

Hi everyone else, seems like all the scans and appointments are all going well.

AFM - saw the ob on Tuesday and he was lovely. Had another scan, this will be the most scanned baby in history, if you include the IVF scans I have already had 10 scans with this pregnancy. The bleeding appears to be coming from between the sac and the lining (on the opposite side to the placenta). Hence not affecting bub, apparently it is fairly common and might continue through to around 16 weeks. It is good to have a reason but still disconcerting that it just happens with no warning.

I am going to have fortnightly ob appointments until it settles down, so back there on the 5th March.

Well thank goodness it's Friday. Sleep is hard to come by so I am looking forward to a sleep in over the weekend, though DH thinks we are painting!

Gregiada, if it makes you feel any better my sonographer said during our 12 week scan, wow, your right ovary is still enlarged. It actually hurt a little bit when she was scanning but all the Drs say nothing to worry about.

Newmummy2b I agree, this wait between scans is long. I think the countdown to the 20 week has seemed like forever, even though I only saw bubba two days ago.

You just keep looking after yourself Samarasmum and Im sure everything will be good.

We are definitely (hopefully after dyso80s experience) finding out the sex and i cant wait. Cant wait to hear whether Chances and Jen are right although Im happy either way.

Forgot to mention, we started discussing birth options as Im high risk and Doc reckons it will either be a scheduled c-sec or inducement at 38 weeks max.
I started watching One Born Every minute on SBS and now the Midwives and am now completely freaked out. Anyone else starting thinking?

Default Re: IVF babies due July/August/September 2013

Vivre- yeah ive been thinking about birth options as well. OB said i can do vbac if i want, but i dont think i do. I had a very good experience with my csection so i'll be opting for that now that i actually have a choice.

Have had a good week been wearing some thight clothes at work last couple of days and a couple of people have started to wonder and have asked my boss about it.Funny story someone asked my boss what will happen when im on mat leave and my boss pretended it was news to him, priceless look on the other persons face

Just waiting for my 20 week scan, 2 more weeks, cant wait see bubs again. Still doesnt feel real.

Newmummy2b I am sure you don't need to worry. You can find information on the net about it. This is from NSW Health. There is no treatment for it apart from Panadol. You should be ok.
    Who is at risk?

    • The viruses that cause hand, foot and mouth disease are common and adults, including pregnant women, are often exposed to them without symptoms. There is no clear evidence of risk to unborn babies from hand, foot and mouth disease. However, infected mothers can pass the infection onto newborn babies who rarely can have severe disease.
    • Outbreaks may occur in child care settings.
