Default IVF babies due July/August/September 2013

    Hi everyone

Good luck with all the scans. I'm hanging out for mind at seven weeks but my doctors doesn't open till Monday, so don't even know if I can get in for my seven week scan yet.

I'm so scared of having a horrible scan, I just have a terrible feeling about it, am I being crazy or does anyone else feel like this?

New mummy I think eat just really simple food and in small portions. It will get better.

Yesterday I felt quite nauseous in the mid morning which is always reassuring but hard to do anything like looking after ds.

Back to reality today as hubby is back at work, so no help with DS and I am now job hunting!

newmummy - I felt the same way. I haven't had any nausea at all but I just didn't care to eat. Apparently our digestive system relaxes and it takes longer to digest things, therefore it feels like it kind of 'sits there' and it's easy to feel full (This also explains the constipation). I found eating smaller and often was the way to go. I'm now 11 weeks and feel more normal in my eating but I still eat 6 times a day instead of 3 and just keep an eye on portions so I don't go nuts on weight gain. I've now gained nearly 1 1/2kg and that's with twins. This has only gone on in the past couple of weeks though. I actually lost weight until then.

    Hi lovely ladies

    Hope everyone is well.

    Newmummy
    - hang in there hun. Like Lucky me and Nat said just try and eat what you can. Small meals, often if you can manage it. Hopefully you start feeling a bit better soon xx

AFM - we had our 7 week scan today (at 7 weeks 1 day) and we have a baby in there!! Bub was measuring 7 weeks 2 days, 1.09cm and a heartbeat of 139 BPM. I still can't believe it as I'm still not feeling much except I'm tired and a bit emotional so was so so so happy to see bub in there. I have been so nervous that I have POAS every day for like 3 weeks.....haha. Need to give that up now and try and relax as much as I can. Long way to go yet but we are over the moon and so so so excited.

    xx
