Hi there. I'll join you here if that's okay. We found out this week that we are pregnant for the first time. I've only had the one cycle of IVF so I'm feeling particularly blessed at this stage, though I know I have a long way to go. We had 2 embies transferred so we'll be waiting to see if we have 2 at the scan.

My scan date is December 12th when I was told I'll be 7 weeks 2 days. So far I have absolutely no symptoms and wish I'd asked for my HCG levels to reassure myself. They only told me it was 'very positive'. I'm hoping that's good. I have another blood test on Monday to check progesterone and levels again after they doubled my Crinone.

I'm completely new to IVF and now pregnancy, so I'll probably have a million questions! I think my due date is late July, early August but haven't worked it all out properly yet.

Welcome nat to the board, I'm sure more will join us soon!
I had bloods today, hcg was 2740 which is following my 50 hour doubling time which they are happy with. Everything is progressing steadily which is a good thing with ohss. My ohss is starting to ease slightly but I still struggle to do a lot and the bloating is awful. A bit of pain still but not as much anymore. I still can't lay flat as it puts too much pressure on my chest and makes it harder to breathe!

Another blood test on Tuesday and then scan on the 4th December!

    How is everyone else feeling?

Default IVF babies due July/August/September 2013

Hi ladies, how are we all on this lovely Friday?

Well afm after a long day of cramping Wednesday, Thursday was relatively quiet and I begun to worry but sure enough before bed the cramping starts up again and I wake up to some sharp niggles and now nothing!
    Charming lol
Very tired after a long week of work! Looking fwd to the weekend we have a night away down the Gold Coast but its short lived as I have christenings Sunday but it will be nice too. I'm making 3 big trifles!

    Anyone else have weekend plans?

No big plans for us this weekend. I had a friend drop by today as I've told her our good news. She gave us our first baby clothes. So cute!!
We're renovating an old cottage on our farm (hoping to move out of town and into it by Christmas) so we'll be painting all day tomorrow. It seems to be my only form of exercise these days!

On the pregnancy front....my boobs are finally starting to get sore so I might get some symptoms after all. Jen80 - the OHSS sounds cruel!!

Chances- 3 big trifles..... Yum! I think I could eat my fair share of that at the moment!
Nat, my boobs are on and off sore.... Normally not too bad in a morning but as the day goes on they get worse. I also feel a bit sick at times but nothing really. I know with my last pregnancies though morning sickness kicked in at 7 weeks, although I wasn't actually sick I felt shocking!

AFM, well I think the ohss is easing a bit although Friday I had a painful day again. Today feels ok so far so I'm going to try and relax a bit too. I took DS strawberry picking yesterday, it was hilarious.... He ate more than we paid for! He had a good time but was filthy at the end! Boys will be boys!

Nothing planned as yet for today but I can see a trip to the shops to buy a new DVD for DS then the tv becomes my babysitter for the afternoon..... I hate sitting him in front of the tv but when I'm supposed to rest it's an easy option!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend!

    Jen x

    Hey everyone
Its taken be awhile to realise this is where I should be but I see lots of familiar faces
We are due 22nd July and have 6 week scan on Wed where we have all the fingers crossed. Jen, how come you are 21st, I would have thought we'd be the same day considering we matched IVF cycles

I seem to have increasing waves of nausea that seem to hit me when I least expect it but apart from that being really tired is my main issue.

Chances I too get days when I seem to have cramping and then it disappears. Its weird isnt it?

Looking forward to hearing all bout your beautiful pregnancies as they develop

Default IVF babies due July/August/September 2013

Vivre, I did an online calculator and I put in epu date and it came up with the 21st. Has your clinic given you the 22nd as a date??? Mine haven't told me yet! My scan isn't till next Tuesday and I really can't wait! I am having the odd af type cramp which I haven't had but wonder if I can just feel them now the pain from the ohss is less! Makes me super paranoid though!

Well me and DS have just put up the Christmas tree! I know it's early but he is mega excited this year and we have visitors arriving on Wednesday for 2 weeks and I won't feel like it then!
