Default IVF babies due July/August/September 2013

I've booked an NT scan while back in NZ so my mums coming, my workmates said him and his wife never got one as they were worried about miscarriage? I can't seem to find a thing on this....is anyone else doing one?

Oooh chances thats good the interview went well, it's so tough making decisions knowing that next year you'll be off for a while. I got a new boss the day we got our BFP who spent an hour telling me how much use I'll be to her in the second half of next year :-/ I just smiled and nodded. Are you from NZ? Most of my family are in Wellington

Jen I hope everything's settled for you xx

Vivre good for you having a day off It makes all the difference, my work aircon went this week and I only worked a half day on fri and it made all the difference

Kj good luck with your second bloods!! My clinic wouldn't do follow up levels booooo, I hope Xmas make the time fly between now and your scan

Samarasmum so glad your little one is ok but tonsillitis is horrible poor thing x

As for the NT scan and miscarriage I saw one of my sisters and it was just an external ultrasound with bloods that the gives you a risk factor for some abnormalities that can occur, we'll be having one for sure - plus any chance to let us know everything going as it should I'll take.

Made it to 5 weeks :-) My weekends been pretty good got loads of sleep but fell asleep at an Xmas party at 9pm and slept til DH woke me up at 11.30 how embarrassing! But managed to clean out the house and do a tip run. Had my first waves of nausea today but they only last fifteen minutes at a time so keeping everything crossed that'll be it xx

Hey hope thanks but I've decided to pull out of this weeks interview, I just don't want the added stress of a new job if i got any of them and even thou everyone should be looking after themselves, I just don't have the conscience to leave my current boss midway thru my job even if it means I won't qualify for my works 36 wk maternity leave....I should get the 18wk govt one. Really not looking fwd to my deadlines over the next three mths but I need to ask for another assistant or delegate more and I plan on telling my boss at 4mths.

Yeh I'm not sure what my work mate was on about for the NT scan... I think it's vital to ease the mind!
Yes I'm a kiwi been in oz 2yrs...came here a single party girl living the dream on the GC now I'm engaged, 8wks4d preggers and can count the times I drunk this year on one hand!!

Default IVF babies due July/August/September 2013

    Hi all, I'm 9 + 2 due 12th July with our 2nd baby.

No real MS but an all day nausea happening & if I don't eat when I start to feeling hungry I start to feel really sick as well. So tired, I get home from work at 5pm & have a snooze for an hour before cooking dinner. I've got a 9 week scan on Wednesday which I have to pay for & I'm booked in for my NT scan on the 2nd Jan as I'll be away the week before.

The chance of miscarriage with the 12 week scan is if you need the amniocentesis & they put the needle in your belly.

I've seen dopplers at Kmart once & I think they were under $100 I thought about it with my DS but then I thought it would probably worry me more when I tried to use it & couldn't find the HB

    Sorry it's so long

To Doppler or not to Doppler .....that is the Q?

I think it may help me with a bit of anxiety like today I'm thinking hmmm it's been a few days since I've had my usual cramps. Anyone else heard about the Kmart ones?

Lol is anyone else still losing weight from their ivf rnd? I am slimmer now than I have been in a while due to all the bloating and weight I put on stimming. Lol it's cool cause no one at work would have a clue cause of my yoyo weight the last 4mths

Hope everyone has a fab week!
