Avoid all of them except Kaz Cooke if you really feel like you want to read something. She is practical, down to earth and funny!

Default Books to read before first baby arrives

I have to say though for the first 6 weeks I did just go with the flow to ensure my breasts would keep up with my DS' demand. I would also recommend looking into the ABA (Australian breastfeeding association) and do their class and join the membership.

I say pick a wide and varied selection - pick your own seeds of truth from each and formulate your own style when you meet your bub. Books can be helpful, so long as you use them to suit your needs and not be defined by them or the parenting style they advocate.

    I second the Kaz Cooke.

Any fiction book you have always wanted to read as you won't get a chance for quite some time once bub arrives!

I never used any books (DD would have broke all their 'rules' anyway!). A friend did loan me her Dunstan Baby Language DVD which I found pretty helpful - a lot more useful than just looking up the descriptions/pictures online.

    Another one for Kaz Cooke!!

Loved everything she wrote.. So straight forward and funny and true.

I hated save our sleep but that is just my opinion.

Really truly though just go with your instincts.. There's so much 'crap' in so many different books you actually start to doubt yourself!!

    Good luck with everything
