Samoht, ivfhopeful, willynilly- thanks ladies, your encouragement means a lot.

Kheeki- ugh! Sorry that AF has reared her ugly head. Enjoy your well deserved Christmas break in sunny Port Douglas. Best of luck with your next cycle.

    Morning ladies.
kheeki I'm sorry to hear AF arrived. I was hoping we would celebrate together.

Asfm I'm still feeling crampy like AF is coming, but nothing. I know this sounds crazy, but my coccic ( not sure of spelling) bone is sore. Like its bruised. It's weird. AF is due tomorrow, I'm 5dp5dt. I know I shouldn't have but did another POAS today. Bfn. I used crystal clear. I just want to see a bfp or AF then I can work out how I'm meant to be feeling.

Thanks everyone. Always helps to get your support. Just not our time yet but we'll get there. Think DH has probably taken it harder than me bless him.

    Hello ladies

I'm stressing out big time!! I realise I should be so happy and relaxed after finally we have bfp... But I'm finding it very hard to chill and stop stressing, I keep thinking I'm going to mc and every pain and spasm I'm sure it's happening... How does everyone move on and stop mind consuming negative thoughts???

Kheeki your such a strong woman!! You will get your dream... My husband is similar he gets so disappointed when ivf didn't work...

Mrsmissy you will relax....once u have had ur scan and seen your babies heartbeat!
Just remember everything is ok unless ur bleeding or have very painful cramping then check in with your doc.
I too worried until I saw the scan but deep down I knew I was ok, I had a lot of cramping early on - I'm at week 10 now.

Missy that's a tough one! As soon as the twins were detectable on a fetal Doppler I bought one and used it everyday or whenever I needed reassurance. It was money well spent. Before that time there isn't much you can do other than to remain positive. Just think about your beautiful little baby growing inside you. What he/she will look like, how big, what colour eyes and hair, name, how you'll decorate their bedroom, anything that is positive is a good thing. I know it's not easy but you've just got to trust the Universe that this is really real and that everything is going to be ok.

Hey missy, before I started this cycle, my friend who is a mum of 2 (naturally) gave me her 2 cents worth, much to my disbelief. She said that a lot of her friends who had been through ivf the first time were so conditioned to the stress of the ups and downs that it took them longer to feel comfortable with being pregnant. I of course thought she was being preachy and didn't listen, chalking it up to yet another fertile talking out of turn. Now having been through some of my cycle, I understand what she was trying to tell me. It's natural for us to be on edge that something may go wrong because we hope and invest so much in it, but keep positive, trust your body and take it step by step.
