Default Secondary ohss only 11 eggs???

    Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed yesterday with secondary ohss, after getting my BFP. I have been reading up on it on dr google and was surprised to find that only 3-5% get it and they mainly seem to have had large quantities of eggs. I only had 16 follies and 11 eggs and didn't show any signs before epu. The fs mentioned twins is a possibility.

Just wondering if anyone else has had similar..... Just wondering if its something wrong with me!

Hi Jen, during my scans before EPU, i was told i had very mild ohss. I had more than 40 follicles! But they took out 19 eggs. I wasn't bloated at all before epu. But a day later i was so bloated that at transfer the fs told me not to go ahead because the ultrasound showed i had fluids in my abdomen, and if it got any worse i would have to have it surgically drained. But i was adamant that i wanted to go ahead, so we did.

Its been a week since transfer, and the bloating has subsided. My pants fit me again!

Ks09 , wow 40 follicles is a huge number! I didn't get any ohss with epu just about 9dpo. It varies as well throughout the day.... Sometimes more painful other times I just feel huge!
I'm waiting for my blood results from fs which will hopefully show a good hcg and they will keep an eye on me for if symptoms worsen!
