Default Can anyone recommend a book or books for a nearly 4 year on the topic of Space or ...

The Human Body or A general question and answer type book?

Or indeed, books you don't recommend on one of these topics?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA

Its funny you should post this because I am after the exact same thing for my 4yo!

I found one on the book depository that looked really good. It was called 'See Inside the Human Body'. I was also thinking of getting some of the Magic School Bus books about them.

Other than that, I haven't found anything great. Would be good to see if anyone has any other suggestions.

Try looking at Usborn or DK books, both have their own websites. Their books are gorgeous and great quality. I homeschool my 4 children aged between 11 and 4, and can always find books on any subject to suit their ages. I find the books I want then order on Book Depository.
    Hope this helps.

My DS is nuts about space. There are loads of good books from funny story books (Aliens in Underpants etc) to quite good simple fact books. (Nuts about space). I got most of mine from the book depository. Its a great topic for little boys and there is loads of stuff on that theme. Space shuttles are big in our house too. NASA actually has a great site you can buy and ship stuff from as well.

I picked this one up at the local post office a couple of weeks ago.
I had an inkling my 4yr old DS would like it, he has not put it down since.

I don't know about a single type of book...

We go to the library a lot. So much so that every time they want to know something now they say "Hmmm, we'll have to go find some books about that!"

So we go through phases where we'll borrow out heaps of space books, and then it will be dinosaurs, and then trucks and then planes and things... I try to get about 8 'story' books and 4-5 really well illustrated children's non-fictions every fortnight.
